When we think it's impossible, Our Teacher makes it possible with PRAYER.
Our Teacher is the man that prays with faith to turn 1% possibility into 99%.
June 2006 - I visited China, the place where Our Teacher set 40 days of fasting prayer condition for North Korea. The place was facing North Korea. Everyday without fail, Our Teacher prayed for them in tears. The prayer for unity, peace and harmony between two Koreas. Our Teacher is the MAN who made BOLD prayers and repay for what he has asked for with his body.
4th October 2007 - Everything we hear and see today is a prayer that has been answered by God. A prayer that only ONE MAN started more than a year ago. Who would have thought of this day will come' unification between enemies for decades. "When you drop your weapon, peace will come to you."

Anything can happen in Providence. You may even find someone that you never know they existed in life.
This is my long lost brother from Korea. When i was 3 years old, i was sent to Singapore. Both of us were seperated since then.
In 2004, I met him through another friend in korea. This is so amazing. I am able to find my long lost brother back.
We were brought up in difference culture. His Korean is his mother tongue while Mandarin is mine.
What brought us together is really God and the Word.
Life is so interesting.
Thank you for the gifts, greetings, wishes, hugs and kisses from all of you.
God is really a great lover. He gave me surprises every year during my birthday. Last year I spent my birthday with Godmother and Sister Carmen and this year i have so many other people spending their precious time with me.
After the trip back from holy land, I have realised more about the meaning of Providence. Providence life keeps changing. Everything has changed except the passion for Providence and the Lord have not. Glory goes to the highest Almighty God and holy land has proven once again its mysterious existence.
A retreat at WMD is as good as 100 retreat in Singapore. For those who find themselves weak in faith, find some strength from the holy land.
Sharing will not see its ending when it starts. We can reflect clearly how we have been living in our daily life when we are at WMD.
The effort in building the isolated valley deserves more than praises from us. For those who still have doubts about the teaching, understand the existence of WMD and you will find the answer. Only those who take action will win. For words without action alike grey clouds without rain.
There will be more sharing coming ahead.
I truly thank God for the wonderful birthday gift.
WMD- my home land.
Since March, i have been praying for a new venue.
The time finally came in June that the hunting job begin. it was a tough job. having to spend working hours to browse through almost all the classified ads site that i can find in Singapore, is already mentally draining. The calls that i have made, the numerous offices that i have seen, the number of agents that i contacted...etc. gosh, it's tiring a big blessing.
Places with near perfection costs as much as $3 psf. The dirt cheap is no way far from $3 psf.
JP indeed is ideal. in terms of location, prices and finishing. with the value added furnitures that were given to us, it's really a good deal. it's also in so many years that 10/11 of the leaders voted in favor of this place. beside eden and heaven, no other places can pleased everyone on earth. the decision was made.
now, another wave of challenges came in. having to juggle the contracts for both NV and JP. on one hand, we can't wait to move to the new place. on the other hand, we have to find a replacement for the vacant unit for NV. with a lot of going to and fro, the contract for JP is still not sign. owner has to settle the paper work with roger and lawyer has to acknowledge the letter. can you imagine how worry i am every night?
until today, 4th July, new challenges arose again. owner for JP has sold away the unit we are occupying. i almost freak fall into pieces. owner assured me that everything is in control. this sentence can mean a lot.
now, who is the new owner? will he let us rent the place for more than 20 months? if not, what is the point for paying 11k for the aircons and fixtures if we are to stay for 2 years only? strictly speaking, we are at the losing end. we have no say. God, for this i have to report to you. pls help us through this and let us not be ignorant.
on the other side, a company opposite NV saw the banner ads that was tied in front of the window and called for viewing. they liked the place and has placed their interest. 10th July is rental payment and 4th July is the day a new tenant was found. cross my finger that the arrangement between owner and new tenant can be compromised. if cheque is issued tomorrow, then it will be a big day of relief. hllj!!
god, pray that everything will be smooth.
we really hope to stay at JP more than 20 months. the amount of $ spent is really not worth to stay for only 20 months.
i'm sure god you will guide us. this is the place you housed the righteous lovers of yours.
my full faith in you, God.
hallelujah!
Recently, I have come across so many Abbreviation that include the letter 'L'.
I am blogging this under "little things that I observed in my life." :)
O L = OFFICE LADY - a typical term to describe women working in office and also their icon (dressing, behavior, etc)
Interstering huh?
E L = EVENT LADY - i came out with this term when my friend asked me what should she dress for her interview. well, no official definition for this term. maybe it will go into our 'singlish' dictionary.
H L = HEAD LEADER - recently, we are going through a discussion in whether we need a AL (will be describe next) for church. Hence, Head Leader is usually associated with AL in the discussion.
A L = ASST LEADER - this is the HOTTEST issue this week. until now, i can't apprehend why AL is so impactful to some. maybe i am just not that type of person that care about title. i am just concern about the job scope being able to help me with my dream of doing more for God.
M L = MR LOH - Haha that's ME !!! Coincidently, the landlord of our 'promising' venue for new church is also Mr Loh. i was joking with members what if the Mr Loh is really my natural father. @@ God, I prayed that wouldn't happen. I don't want to dig out the bad memories from the past.
Anyway, this is my life this week with the 'Ls' family.
I pray the issue that is boiling in church currently will come to an end, we need to move on and i need to move on too. Heart is just uneasy when issue with no conclusion arises. Nobody seems to voice out, nobody seems to want to talk about it. Everything seems motionless. So, what is happening next?
God, i thank you for the training. i know it is not easy. Looking at how much the Lord has done for us, what can we complain about the little things we do?
Praise the Lord.
Love of this time
Having nothing yet everything
He flashes the Killer Smile
That moves the mountain of Everest
No one know where he comes from
They only know him as a mere man
Behind the Smile is the Almighty
Flashing the sword
Fastening the belt
Shielding himself against His enemy
He sets a banquet for His enemy
Using the heart of gold
To sow the seeds of love
In the field of iron
What is wrong with this Man
That He deserves this treatment
Love for love, LOVE for hatred
He is a righteous man
O God, I kneel before you
Release the burden of the cross
Cause by the ignorance of mankind
For He has to bear the cross of this sin
Who are we to judge Him
For we are like a sand in the beach to Him
Are we not sinner
That is passing judgment on a righteous man
Fear God
For the wisdom begins from here
Do not obstruct the ideal world
From being fulfilled on this desolate land
He will fill this land with milk and honey
Gold and silver will fill everyone's house
Come to Him
And He will give you peace
Repent, for the kingdom of God is here.
For the Lord
(3 days fasting)
- Pastor Jung, Myung Seok was born as the third child among six sons and one daughter. He was born in 1945, at the fourth hour of the day. The address where he was born is 151, Sukmak-ri (Wolmyung-dong or Dalbak-gol), Chinsan-myun, Guemsan-gun, Choongchungnam-do. Sukmak-ri is a high-altitude mountain village at the foot of Mt. Indae. Mt Daedoon stands behind the village like a backdrop.
At age six, Pastor Jung began calling “God” although no one had taught him about God. At age nine, he started going to church. From early on (since elementary school) he came to understand the emptiness of life. He searched for the answer to the fundamental question of human life and from the fifth grade he started to hear the voice of Jesus. As a teenager, Pastor Joshua Jung committed himself to a life of prayer and serious faith.
He traveled to many churches in order to listen to revival speakers. Their themes were mostly apocalyptic: the judgment of fire, the Rapture, etc. They preached a literal belief in the bible. Pastor Joshua Jung hoped for the coming of the Lord Jesus more eagerly than anybody else because he felt hopeless due to extreme poverty.
From age 17, driven by the agonies of life and severe poverty, he engrossed himself in mountain prayer. During the day he tilled the ground and labored with heavy loads on his back. At night, inside a deserted mine, he pushed himself to pray and read the Bible. Until he was drafted to the army service he was absorbed in a profound level of prayer. He prayed in the mountains after farming and finishing up the chores around the house. His fiery faith took him to church 20 times or more per week. At age 19, he served as a Sunday school teacher at Sukmak Church. He dedicated himself to caring for lives and evangelism. At times he went to Mt. Samgak Prayer Camp and prayed while fasting for 70 days at a time.
In his twenties, he focused on street evangelism. He performed a sign of evangelism for God when, in one year, he brought ten thousand people to God. At age 21, he began a life of prayer atop Mt. Daedoon, later resuming it after the Vietnam War. He prayed and lent his ears to the Word of Heaven despite rains, winds and blizzards. For many years he sought enlightenment while exposed to severely low temperatures throughout the night. On a certain peak of the mountain where he prayed—called Eagles Peak—it was so cold that even a pine tree froze to death. During his two prolonged decades of life of seeking enlightenment, he came to realize the profound truth of the Bible, the truth that breaks through both the physical and spiritual worlds.
During the life-or-death crisis in Vietnam (1966 to 1969), Pastor Joshua Jung learned the value of life and first handedly experienced the love of heaven. As an eyewitness to the tragic miseries of war, he highly valued the dignity of life. With God’s help he escaped death hundreds of times and made a resolution to dedicate his whole life to God. During the war he served as a Private in the Scout Company of White Horse Corps. He would capture an enemy alive instead of gunning him down. Stories about how he contributed to saving his comrades are powerful and inspiring as they are retold by his surviving comrades. As a Private he was an outstanding patriot earning four medals including the Wha-rang-mu-gong medal and In-hun medal.
After returning from Vietnam, he destroyed his family’s 150 year old mud house and built a new house. The Lord Jesus inspired him to do the same in terms of faith as well. According to the inspiration he offered everything he owned to build Sukmak Church (located in Sukmak-ri, Chinsan-myun, Geumsan-gun) in 1973. Between 1973 and the time he went to Seoul in 1978, he frequented Mt. Daedoon as well as other prayer caves, where he prayed and fasted for 40 or 70 days.
Through the fasting prayers, he directly experienced and learned about the suffering from hunger and illness. He once lived with beggars, rending them aid and service. These experiences and hardships taught him to deeply feel God’s sorrow that had not been told or understood for 6,000 years, as well as the grievance that Jesus would have felt through the unavoidable death on a cross. He also broke the seals of 120 principles of the Bible, as precious as hidden treasure, in regard to salvation.
On June 1st, 1978 Pastor Joshua Jung went to Seoul. In one hand, he was carrying diagrams explaining the principles. Getting food was a big problem now. He barely soothed his empty stomach with cheap instant noodles or plain wheat noodles for two years. Finding one person that understood the Word was as difficult as picking a star from the sky. Led by Jesus, he moved to Shin-chon to establish the town as the main ground for evangelism, in August 1980. As people came to realize the Word there, the history of life began on a significant scale.
In March 1982, he established MS Missionaries (Christian Gospel Mission today). The following November he graduated from Wesley Theological School. Within a few years the size of the Missionaries quickly grew from a few hundreds to a few thousands, then to tens of thousand. It became urgent to get a place where all the members could get together. After much prayer, he with his disciples began developing his hometown of Wolmyung-dong into a retreat in 1989. This site eventually transformed into the natural temple that numerous visitors admire today.
He worked hard for the countless youths and college students who were evangelized; he spent night and day preaching and providing counseling to them. After the domestic foundation was firmly laid, he set off in January 1999 to travel the path of worldwide mission following God’s lead.
In February 2001, he founded CGM Volunteer Group. He instilled peace and love in the minds of worldwide youths, through international cultural exchanges centered on God. Mr. Jung has been dedicated to development of culture, art and sports incorporating heavenly ideals with them.
He published Spiritual Poems in 1989 which drew much attention. In 1995 he took the platform as a poet since his poetry was introduced in the literature magazine Moonyeh Sajo. He inspired many with not only literature, but also calligraphy, oil and porcelain painting, ink and water colors. He held a worldwide soccer festival to provide a forum where various ethnicities and nationalities could join in peace through soccer games.
With faith in God and prayer, he healed a 25 year long disease for which no one had found a cure, some other diseases difficult to cure, mental illness, etc. that modern medicine cannot cure.
In Sri Lanka 2002, Pastor Joshua Jung was granted a doctorate in Philosophy by The Open International University for Complementary Medicines which is under UNESCO. This institute awards a doctorate in Philosophy only to those who already have a doctorate either in medicine or psychology. Emoto Masaru, widely known as the “Water Doctor” around the world, was also awarded a doctorate by the same school. Today, Pastor Joshua Jung tirelessly continues to spread the gospel to different parts of the world and pursue world peace together with 200,000 members spread in 50 countries.
The long-awaited bowling has taken place last month.
In Providence, we do everything with joy and glory to God. With our Shepherd leading, there is more freedom and space in our life.
"Enjoy the blissful life with God and the Lord" - everyone's dream is to live an ideal life. the question is HOW?
If we could focus out of the material world, we will gain more joy in our inner heart. Centering on God is known to everyone. Getting close to God is not only by word but with action. Before we can believe, we need to understand his existence. In order to understand, we need a teacher and that s why life is never so great when you met a teacher who can teach you about something more than life.
In my blog, i would love to dedicate this to my beloved teacher JMS. Every single word and action from him comes with a meaning.
Despite the rough storms, he stands strong and protect us.
My poems are written centering on him. In time to come, i hope the meaning behind all these poems will be understood.
Life in Providence is so shiok.
